The Jokers Pub offers a private, exclusive, social network for people who are predominantly First Responders/Emergency Services, their families and friends. This includes law enforcement, fire fighters, EMS/EMT/Paramedics, mental health professionals, nurses, doctors, dispatchers, planners and all associated support staff. It is based on the understanding that these are the professions we practice but they are not our total identities. Work in any of these jobs creates a different view of the world that the general public often doesn't understand. We see things differently, we have a different and often darker sense of humor and we definitely have different ways of looking at things. We all need a safe place to blow off some steam with people who understood what we are talking about and appreciate our humor! We couldn't find it, so we made it! Now we invite you to share it with us. And because we are a private network, there is less worry about people misunderstanding and the benefit of being in a place where you are the rule and not the exception!

The Empire and all of its sites represent a revival of renaissance values of living well,enlightenment, humor and sophistication. We are a group of people that enjoy having fun and living up to our motto. Work hard, play hard, live well! So get connected and join a social network for us, by us!

Your profile page is your personal home within the Pub and is fully customizable to your preferences. On your profile page you can:

Groups

In The Jokers Pub you have the option of joining or starting groups in one of several categories. These groups may be public, meaning that any member may join freely, or they may be kept private so that a member has to request permission from the group administrator to join. Groups are a great way to bring people together to discuss common view, interests, hobbies, and lifestyles. A sample of the many available categories are:

Blogs

We encourage our members to write Blogs about any topic that they desire. Blogs are a great way to share our views, and they represent our voices in Cyberspace. In the Pub you have the option to categorize and tag your Blogs as you wish, and you have the choice to share them with the rest of the site or just with your friends.

Forums

We have Forums as a way for the community to get together and post about anything they desire. There are also several categories within the forums to choose from. Our Forums open into a new browser window and require you to register a User Name and Password for your Security. We highly suggest using the same User Name as your Jokers Pub Profile to prevent any confusion.

Chat

The Jokers Pub has a great Chat feature for those who would rather talk in real time. While the chat is available to all members, we also have a Private Chat feature allowing you to create your own Chat Rooms. These Private Chat Rooms may be left open or password protected so only you and your friends may access them.
